Get ready to strum like a rock star or a confused cat. No prior skills needed, just your enthusiasm and a willingness to make some delightful noise. They provide the ukuleles, good chance to try before you buy too.

If you're tired of the mosquitoes in outdoor movies and have some free time in the afternoon, go catch a movie, or go browse the books and magazines while your kid is busy.

This one is back because it's a good learning experience, kids love it, and it teaches them to use computers for more than just Fortnite.

Because they're never tired of Pokemon, even if you don't care what a Pawmi is.

Bring your unwanted treasures and swap them for someone else's. Who knows, you might find a vintage lamp that screams "I need a home" or a toy that your kid will love. Open the link and read the rules.

Bring your kids to watch some dragon boat racing action. No real dragons included.

🕐 10:30 AM • 📍 Science World

Get ready to get your hands dirty, build your own water filter and see if you can outsmart the swamp. This one is super practical and informative. Their own note: "This is a truly sustainable activity, the water filters and rocks will be reused!". Free with admission. Better for ages 8+.

This one is at the mall. Join Amuse Ground for a fun, hands-on keychain-making experience. First-come, first-served. Create your own keychain using fun patches and take it home as a personalized keepsake.

Go to Richmond Oval for a day of sport, fitness and fun!
This is a free community event that celebrates Richmond’s dedication to sport, fitness and wellness; filled with family-friendly activities, sport demonstrations, tournaments, and more.

Support real-world farmers and students, and also find artisan food, great handmade crafts and live music.

🕐 11:12 AM • 📍 Second Beach - Stanley Park

This is the last Stanley park movie of the season. Airing the great and beloved classic Lord of the Rings. Bring your goblins to see Frodo and the others on their journey to Mordor.

🕐 2:00 PM • 📍 Central Library

I know AI can do so much these days, but it's still cannot do what Photoshop can (try to modify a picture with your AI app, tell me later). Let your kids learn something creative, and (mostly) useful.

Art time, and the best kind, art far from your walls, carpet, tables and tiles. In this specific session, Dot Art. Don’t tell me you don’t know Dot Art… (ok, I googled it, and it’s cool. For real.)

Meet other kids to make crafts, complete STEM challenges, and play with LEGO®.

Please don't get triggered, but kids these days call Mean Girls a vintage movie. Whatever it is, it's fun, and one of your last chances to catch an outdoor movie this summer.

Who wants to paint on the walls? Your kids... and painters looking for jobs. Let your kids go wild on the library wall and make some "art".

If you want a short break at home, get your little reader to attend this to discover new books and connect with other kids. Fantasy, adventure, laugh-out-loud books and graphic novels - each month has a different focus.

You had this one last week, and it's back with the last movie of the season. Watch Johnny Depp, the biggest Halloween lover, in costume again, this time on crazy pirate shenanigans.
