If you want your kids to get busy with something which is fun and also can help them make some bucks in the future, this is it. Perfect for beginners, this series will introduce key coding concepts through creative and interactive challenges.

Worlds collide! It's the Science World showing live experiments at the PNE, good for that little break so the mini-donuts go down easier before you go for the next crazy ride.

This is a good distraction for your kid, but also a great lesson. Turn your creativity into community caring! Meet other kids and have fun creating bookmarks, cards, or other paper crafts for people who are isolated at home or in a care facility.

Get those faces far from screens! Embark on an action-packed adventure with the help of an experienced dungeon master. For Grades 4-7.

🕐 3:30 PM • 📍 Brighouse
If your kid is into science, you should check this one out. In this session, they'll learn about Biology and the difference between cold-blooded and warm-blooded animals. For ages 9-12.

🕐 4:00 PM • 📍 Ironwood
If your kid was actually too outdoorsy, or you don't dare having videogames at home because they would play forever, this is a good compromise. Go play in the library, it's free and you can also grab some books in the meantime.

Another option paired with boardgames, even better, but this one is at night.

🕐 10:00 AM • 📍 Britannia Branch
Tired of reading The Sound of Moosic and want someone else to tell your toddlers a story? This one repeats itself in many branches, many times.

This one is for adults, but a good chance of learning something useful if you're into video editing.

🕐 4:00 PM • 📍 RPL Brighouse Branch
Go figure, kids love Minecraft. It's ok if you can't stand listening to Steve's Lava Chicken, this is not for you...

🕐 7:00 PM • 📍 RPL Steveston Branch
Crafting time. Register for a demonstration of the new Cricut Maker 3 at the Steveston Branch. Staff will demonstrate the machine’s capabilities and participants will take home a sample Cricut craft.

🕐 7:00 PM • 📍 Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza
An "old" great classic, on a huge inflatable screen under the stars. Bring your blankets, chairs, and pillows!

This is the easiest way to do summer movies, snacks are right beside you, parking is free, AC is on, security is watching... I mean, no judgement, it's easy fun.
